I've been terrible at picking up my camera since my daily picture project of last year ended. Which is sad. I do so love editing them. It's relaxing. And a great way to procrastinate doing something more productive. LOL
I met up with a few local Little Rock photographers this last weekend. Which was LOTS of fun and hope to meet again with them soon. I can't post the pictures that I took on my blog because I don't have a model release. Which is a shame because I love them.
It's made me realize that I'd like to focus some of my time on photographing models. Both to improve my night/flash photography, but also to push farther into fashion shoots. Eventually I'd love to submit my pictures to magazines and such. I'm a long way from that, I realize this. But it's always nice to have a goal. I might reach it before 90. LOL
So if you live in or around Little Rock, have an interesting look (I love tattoos and piercing or theme shoots!) and wouldn't mind signing a model release (in exchange for a few full resolution photos with a personal print release) hit me up. My email is in the About Me section. I'd love to see if we can work something out.

This was Bekah reading yesterday after school. She's reading Inkdeath, the last of the Inkheart series. She asked me, "What am I going to read when I finish? I hate finishing a series! It's so sad when I have no idea what I'm going to read next."
Welcome to my life, little one.
And just for the sake of fairness, I do take pictures of Seth. He's just much harder to catch. Usually I have to threaten him to get in front of my camera. SIGH. I need to practice my ninja stealth moves. It would make the whole thing a lot easier.

What a great bunch of photos catching Bekah reading! Liam, methodical creature that he is, would only read books from a series. You know what to read next...until it ends, ugh.
ReplyDeleteWish we lived closer, I would love tag along on your photo shoots, carry your camera bag, get you coffee...make faces at the models :D
First, I'd photograph you. Yes. Yes. Yes.
DeleteSecond, I'd turn you into a camera junky. And the equipment is not cheap. It would make your latte obsession look like crackerjacks. You'd be fighting with T's music hobby. Haha.
bwahaha!! If we can get this dang pinball room built, then next year, I will have my camera revenge ;0) But the window of time is getting smaller; Fall of 2014 I have to send that older kid to college *have to sit down when I think about it, makes my head spin*
DeleteWould love to have you teach me the ways of the camera!
