It was a celebration here on Saturday. The Big 1-0!
Me: So how does it feel to hit double digits?
Seth: I’ll be honest. There were a few moments where I didn’t think I’d make it.
Me: Me too, Birthday Boy. ME TOO.
I hate that I always make things "all about me," but.... HOW THE HECK AM I OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE A 10-YEAR-OLD?! Can someone tell me? Because it freaks me out.
For real. I had a mild panic attack and everything. Where are my babies?!
And then Seth (being a smart ass) said, "I count down every second until I can drive and move out of this house."
*blink* Like he doesn't live the life of a spoiled prince. haha.
Then I told him that the car and moving out meant he had to get a job because I sure wasn't going to pay for it. He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Work?!" His eyes large, and his lip curled up. "Surely we can work something out. Something where you, like, uh, pay for that stuff."
Right.

DeleteChima!! You've already gotten your hands on some Chima! This is all I have heard about since the day after Christmas...Rett's birthday isn't until July, he's got awhile, but he is plotting. Love the birthday cake picture too!
ReplyDeleteHa. He was disappointed with the Chima. He wanted the dinosaur set(s) to finish off his grouping (because you know, you have to have them ALL or the world will end). But. We can't find them anywhere! He eventually got over it and broke open the Chima and is happy.
